At the end of February 2016 the coverage rate (share of national collective agreements in force for the wage setting aspects) was 39.5 per cent in terms of employees and 37.5 per cent in terms of the total amount of wages.

In February 2016 the hourly index increased by 0.1 per cent while the per employee index was unchanged from last month.

Compared with February 2015 the hourly index and the per employee index increased by 0.8 per cent.

During the period January-February 2016 both indices increased by 0.8 per cent compared to the same period of the previous year.
