Data quality
Quality tools have been developed by Istat in order to improve the quality of statistical processes and products, consistently with Istat's mission and according to the framework of the European Statistical System.
They result from a valuable work done at international level with the relevant contribution from Istat experts.
The following tools can be useful and relevant for Institutions belonging to the Italian National Statistical System, as well as for researchers and also, in a broadly way, for data users: the Quality Guidelines for Statistical Processes, initially developed for the statistical processes and then for the processes using administrative sources, the summary reports Quality at a glance, the Information System on Quality (SIQual) and Quality Audits.
